Hi All,

I've been cleaning house and decided to sell some of my drawings.

All of these drawings have been made on 10x15 inch "manga paper" and have been inked. These are the only copies that I have so once they're gone, they're forever gone.

Below are some of them that I have decided to sell:

Erza custom Armor - $25

Halloween Witch - $40

Where the Wild Things Are - $50

DBZ Cooler VS Goku - $120 this one comes with a frame. I'd rather not sell it separate from the frame because i dont want the paper to get ruined (plus i was kinda proud of myself with this one lol.) Approximately 18x14 inches with frame.

These would make great one-of-a-kind gifts for people you know who are fond of any of the characters featured. Just sayin' ;)

So if you know someone that might be interested, please spread the word!

FYI: I can only accept paypal for payments

Any questions, don't hesitate to message me or email me at tubenose.art@gmail.com :)

Thanks!!!

I'm currently planning for commissions for line art with no background.

It is NOT open yet because I am currently tied down with work which I will be hoping to get done very soon, but I figured I'd at least let people know what it is.

Full Body, no background, High Quality line art for $30(USD)

Why no color?
- I'm currently using a laptop which isn't really optimized for coloring, meaning the colors are not accurate. I always see washed out, grey-ish color, therefore I cannot offer services with color (at least not until I can buy a desktop with a decent monitor).

Why no background?
- It's a bit time-consuming for me to do them especially with the hardware I'm working with. At least with characters, I can have a nice sketch ready and refine it in photoshop. Plus im more "in-tune" with them.

Can it be multiple characters in one page?
- No. I would be charging extra for another character anyways so I figured it would be nicer and more uniform to have a solo shot of the character instead.

Other Guidelines
1. I specialize in females. I can draw guys as well but just putting that out there.

2. Keep it PG13. Sexy is ok. I have the right to decline a commission though if I deem it too, err, vulgar or offensive in nature.

3. Intricacy of design is ok (Edited: this is a bit of a grey area but as long as there are no overly intricate chains and similar things involved. We can discuss this further anyways).

4. Will only do "humans", so apologies, no anthro, mechas, animals, aliens and all that other stuff.

5. Paypal only please.

Here are samples for you to look at. Some of these are a bit older but the quality is still fairly high:

How it works and Other Notes
- Give me the details and I'll work on a sketch. I won't ask you to put money down. Once you agree on the sketch, I'll start on the work and send you a sample image. When everything is good to go, I'll wait for the full payment via Paypal and then send you the high resolution 8.5x11 TIFF (or any other specific print format you would prefer).

- Please provide adequate references otherwise I will have to use my own creative judgement (or unless you specify that I can just be artistically free with it).

- If you have any specific details about the character (ex pose, expression and whatnot), don't hesitate to let me know! Don't be shy =) It will benefit both of us in the long run.

- The style that I will most likely utilize is inspired by Alphonse Mucha, with a thicker border around the line art (see Android 18 sample). If you prefer it not having the thick lines, just let me know.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll update this as soon as I get stuff done from my plate. In the meantime, if anyone is interested or have any comments, feel free to post on the comment section below or leave me a note.

Again, this is NOT open yet but if you are sure that you will commission me, leave a comment below and I will treat it as a first-come-first-serve basis.

You can alternatively reach me at tubenose.art@gmail.com if you have any questions.

There have been a good number of peeps asking about tutorials *coughaugustc4'sspicycurrybrush.imlookingforthismyselfcough* for painting and what not, but since the closing of mangarevolution.com, there really wasn't any decent site out there to find them. Most of them are randomly floating around the web, which you would need to do a bit more hard work to access them.

I found something very interesting and promising over at comictutorials.com comictutorials.com/

What's interesting is that it contains a variety of tutorials (both image and video) for different styles, donated by different artists. The site still seems to be in its early stages but it looks real promising.

Edit: I guess you have to be a paid member in order to access the whole tutorial archive, but they have a few veiwable ones available. I'm hoping they'd increase their "free" stuff later on. Again, its still in its early stages and i have yet to explore the site even more =)

Go check it out! If you like it, spread the word! I'm sure alot of people out there are looking for a site like this for a long time =)

EDIT:

So I forgot to mention that ArtyAMG is holding a contest over here: news.deviantart.com/article/10…

Enter your heroine/Female OC and get a chance to win a sculpted version of it shipped to you! Details would be on the page. I think its a pretty sweet deal.

The contest will be open up till feb 28 if im not mistaken, so head over there and go check it out yourself!

Spread the word if you like it!

I love going to the movies. I probably go to the movies once a month on average for the past 4-5 years. It's just the whole movie experience I suppose is what makes me want to drive 10 miles away and pay $10, and it doesn't even have to be a blockbuster hit. It was only a few years ago also that I actually wanted to go on a opening night for a film. Before, i did not even entertain the idea.

I love the whole dark surrounding and just having your eyes fixated on a large screen. And especially when the movie is just so good, you kinda get transported in that tiny corner of your head where your imagination takes over and goes along with the ride. I remember walking out after the film and suddenly having my mind jolted back to reality. Its surreal...

I do admit though that unruly crowds are one of the things that put me off to going to the theatres. At the same time, sometimes its the crowd that makes it even more enjoyable (*coughtransformersopeningnightcough*)

Do you guys love going to the theatres? What is your love/hate relationship with theatres?

I know its a bit early but who plans on going to either (or both) this year? Last year I was able to go to the Anime Expo up in Anaheim. This year im planning on going to the SD Comic Con for one day (Sunday). I'm hoping that I can also attend this year's AX, which will most likely be on a Saturday.

Do you think attending once or twice for the cons are enough and that any other trip feels "old"? I kinda felt like that with Comic Con on my 3rd go, but I got to skip 2 years and now I kinda wanna go again (lol).

Anyone else going?
