My parting gift to all of you.

I'm not leaving or anything but I suppose more can be explained here: [link]

This has been done a few months back and is actually a "newer" version. I really wanted to make this as sort of a private collection but I suppose I can share this one last bit. The original version is something very special and meaningful to me so I decided to leave that one as just for my personal viewing.

The theme is for self interpretation so whatever you guys feel like it means :)

May we all strive to fly higher and reach our goals. Someday. Someday soon.

Daily Deviation

Given 2008-02-05

"Though not a true parting gift, ~tubenose's "Someday" is still a poignant deviation to mark the start of his hiatus. The vertical framing and perspective allow for the deep blue sky that increases the tranquil, melancholy feeling he was trying to portray. Not to mention that the adorable scene at the bottom is lovely in and of itself ;) Gotta admire the accuracy of his coloring there; scenes portrayed in strong daylight aren't easy to create! All in all, this piece certainly gives the viewer the feeling that it's not goodbye forever." Someday by ~tubenose (Suggested by ~SailingBreezes and Featured by `azarath)

wow.. beautiful.. sad yet nostalgic at the same time. the closing of a chapter, the end of an era..

now thats a powerful emotion captured in a painting, i hope to be able to do that too someday..
