AX and Comic Con

I know its a bit early but who plans on going to either (or both) this year? Last year I was able to go to the Anime Expo up in Anaheim. This year im planning on going to the SD Comic Con for one day (Sunday). I'm hoping that I can also attend this year's AX, which will most likely be on a Saturday.

Do you think attending once or twice for the cons are enough and that any other trip feels "old"? I kinda felt like that with Comic Con on my 3rd go, but I got to skip 2 years and now I kinda wanna go again (lol).

Anyone else going?

Thanks! Oh I should definitely pop by than. I've just had a few ideas for new art, and a new program would be super. I need to clean out my old gallery too. *shutter* There's some really old crappy stuff in there. lol

Alot of the members are floating around here on DA and mangabullet.com, but for the most part, most of the solid old members are over at anothartist (and getting older, myself included lol).

You should drop by sometime! I'm sure alot of people have been missing you for quite sometime :)

Haha yeah, MR. I wonder why I put a. Yes I'm alive! A friend of mine was flipping through some DA art and showed me some stuff. I found myself missing it all. A while back I'd tried to get to MR and discovered it was gone. =( So sad! I did a quick drawing and scanned it in to paint, and couldn't find my good paint program, so I used the crappy one. I'm very unhappy with it now. haha. Are there any really great *free* paint programs out there? I miss the good stuff. lol

yeah MR shut down (for the second time) a couple of months back. Then the MR group here on DA went "active" for a bit again, just so the members of the MR site can be added to the roster here on DA. So yeah, we experienced the whole site-going-down-depression for the second time (lol). You should have seen the couple of folks who hung out at the DA chat during the last remaining moments of MR XD

There are a couple of free, good paint programs floating around the web. GIMP, ArtRage (they have a free version i think) and Pixia. There are a couple more I can't recall but I think they're listed somewhere in Des' forums.
